Booze 'n' Blues Lockdown Playlist

Back at the end of March, 2020, we were all in the early throes of coronavirus lockdown. Mr Jim Gillespie had the following bright idea:

So it began, four people, all missing our regular gigs, could turn our attention to music, albeit recorded. Moving on from overlooked or neglected bands or singers, Jim periodically decided a category, and at two o'clock UK time (or thereabouts) each afternoon the person whose turn it is nominates an appropriate piece of music, the only stipulation being that that specific artist or group must not have appeared previously. By specific, "Fleetwood Mac" is not the same band as "Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac" and the Rolling Stones appear as Muddy Waters' band as well as in their own right!

Eventually we removed the category rule, and by the time we had submitted 600 entries, it was getting ever more difficult to find qualifying tracks, so the rules were amended thus:

• Categories would be nominated in turn by each participant;
• Any artist can be chosen, but only once per category;
• The order would be changed to Col, Jim, Jude, Simon.
